Stainless Steel 410 rings are a martensitic grade alloy also recognised as UNS S41000 / WNR 1.4006, containing chromium (about 11.5-13.5%) and carbon (up to 0.08-0.15%). The chemical mixture allows the material to be tempered and hardened with the help of heat treatment that ultimately results in excellent properties such as good strength, robustness, and mild to moderate corrosion resistance. SS 410 alloy also performs well against fresh water and organic acid environments.
These rings include all-round key features such as excellent hardenability during heat treatment procedures, high tensile and yield strength, and good wear and abrasion resistance. Other significant features that also come with 410 rings are magnetic properties, balanced corrosion resistance (non-severe conditions), and dependable performance at prolonged high temperatures (~705°C). Standard available sizes for 410 rings include outer diameters (145-3000 mm), face heights (up to 49 inches), and individual weight distribution (ranging up to 60,000 lbs), based on required prerequisites for given operational conditions.
