This grade is a powerful material that provides excellent support and resistance to strict acidic environments where 304 or 304L slowly degrade over time.

Stainless Steel 316 rings offer superior density, impact resistance, and architectural robustness. When compared with plate-cut forms, 316 forged form rings offer greater fatigue strength. These rings are manufactured based on ASTM A182 or ASME SA182 international standards. We offer custom-range dimensions including outer diameters from 20 mm to 2000 mm with thickness up to 300 mm. The common forms of applications with 316 rings in forged form include high-pressure valves, turbine casings, gear blanks, critical connectors, and power generation equipment.
When applications are highly related to coastal or marine environments, 316's molybdenum material is absolutely unquestionable. For freshwater environments, 304 grade alloy is sometimes also recommended. 316 alloy rings are chosen when there is constant exposure to chemicals and hygiene must be maintained, and other standard grade alloys cannot last as long without decay. 316 rings are available in different forms such as forged seamless form, split and formed wire rings, cast rings, and moulded extruded rings.
