Stainless Steel 310, or UNS S31000, has a chemistry of nickel and chromium, with nickel (19-22%) and chromium (up to 24-26%), with minimal addition of manganese and other elements to keep up the balance. To maintain extreme robustness, 310 can be annealed through heat treatment to obtain optimal resistance to corrosive media. When weldability is not the primary need, SS 310 alloy rings can be used across continuous high heat applications. While post-welded assemblies require extreme corrosion resistance, 310S (low carbon variant) can be recommended for dependable applications.
Stainless Steel 310 Rings provide exceptional high-temperature consistent performance while maintaining significant robustness, structural stability, and long-term exposure to high temperatures. This grade can last up to 1150°C, with intermittent service up to 1035°C. 310 alloys are a chromium-nickel mix that forms a stable oxide layer to cover chromium and minimize grain growth at boundaries. 310 alloy rings provide structural stability and can be used for load-bearing applications to resist creep due to limited addition of carbon content. This grade alloy offers substantial resistance to chloride-induced stress corrosion cracking, diluted acidic environments, and other organic acids. 310 alloy rings have less magnetic penetration and hence are good for sensitive applications as well.
These 310 rings are used in industries such as furnace and heat treatment, petrochemical industries, chemical processing, automation and machinery, constructive and decorative applications, and several cryogenic industrial environments. When applications such as furnace components are considered, we can offer forged rings, while for heat treatment equipment or aesthetic applications, precision-cut form can be chosen to get the highest benefits, unlike other standard steel solutions that may not withstand these conditions.
Stainless Steel 310 rings offer high-temperature corrosion resistance with architectural integrity maintained (up to 1150°C). We offer full manufacturing potential with custom-sized plate rings and forged rings ranging (up to 3000 mm) and plate-cut rings depending upon your industry standards. Width size ranges are available (125 mm to 1500 mm) with outer diameter from 5 inches to 60 inches. We offer surface finish options for 310 rings with rough finish, as rolled, to polished finish, coated finish, and matte finish (for aesthetic appeal). Stainless Steel 310 Rings are a versatile option that serves across furnace components, chemical processing units, and cryogenic industries.
