Stainless Steel 15-5PH Rings is a high-strength precipitation hardening alloy available in seamless rolled, forged, and plate cut ring forms. This is a martensitic precipitation hardening alloy steel popularly known for its excellent strength, good corrosion resistance, and dependable performance in a wide range of environments. SS 15-5PH Rings deliver excellent toughness and resist corrosion cracking in different environments. These are available in multiple conditions; one which is very popular is the age hardening solution (recognised with H900-H1150) according to relevant industry demands.
Stainless Steel 15-5PH Rings feature excellent corrosion resistance up to 316°C; hence, they are considered an advanced martensitic alloy version. They deliver significant transverse robustness and dependable performance for a wide range of applications. 15-5PH, also known as UNS S15500, has a combination of robust build quality, high strength, and corrosion resistance properties of austenitic steel grade. When compared with 17-4PH, 15-5PH alloy rings have much more uniform properties for various applications. These rings are produced and rolled using seamless ring rolling and intermittently compressed using open die forging to engineer consistent quality rings with exceptional performance. Both seamless ring rolling and open die forging processes involve creating an endless grain flow that allows pressure, cyclic, and rotating applications.

It has tensile strength up to 1320 MPa for H900 along with transverse toughness and ductile properties. The 15-5PH alloy also features corrosion resistance equivalent to 304 or 316 stainless steels. SS 15-5PH alloy also ensures dimensional integrity and stabilisation properties during age hardening processes. It offers consistent strength over multi-directionally loaded environments.
