Inconel 600 is a nickel-chromium alloy registered with the common name UNS N06600; it has nickel proportions of (72% min.), chromium (14-17%), and other small residues for the chemical balance. Inconel 600 alloy is an austenitic alloy and non-magnetic in nature across all service atmospheres. It is usually applied where sensor mounts in housing instrumentation can be interrupted by magnetic interference. Inconel 600 is a powerful alloy ring that offers excellent corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance up to 2000°F. 600 alloy forms a bonding between microstructure grains that resists significant degradation over thermal cycling conditions. Inconel 600 alloy rings are often preferred when standard steel alloys weaken after a handful of heat-cool runs.
Inconel 600 alloy is a precision-cut seamless rolled ring and open die-forging for circumferential grain flow and reducing the diameter thickness for cost-effective solutions.
The nickel-chromium-iron alloy offers good resistance against chloride-induced environments, excellent oxidation resistance, and reliable corrosion resistance across the elevated temperature zones. It features immunity against stress corrosion cracking and is reliably used in furnace hardware where cyclic temperature conditions are unavoidable.
The Inconel 600 rings are applicable where the chances of creep in sustainably cryogenic environments with thermal cycling could cause fatigue cracking, such as gas and turbine components. Inconel 600 alloy rings are also utilised where acidic environments or fresh water atmospheres can damage and cause rust or overall material degradation within a few service cycles. 600 rings are available to us in different sizes and thicknesses covering ASTM B166, ASTM B168, and Inconel DIN 2.4816 grades. Inconel 600 rings are applicable across gas turbine components, petrochemical reactors, exhaust systems, aerospace components, pharmaceutical plants, pulp and paper industry equipment, and other corrosive environments.
