Super Duplex 32760 Rings have a chemical composition of chromium (up to 25%), nickel (up to 7%), and molybdenum for excellent strength and good mechanical properties. There are residues of copper(cu) and tungsten (W) that enhance localised corrosion resistance and good material performance. UNS S32760 alloy is one of the most popular cost-effective solutions, which stabilises its performance even at sub-zero temperature ranges. UNS S32760 alloy rings provide reliable corrosion resistance across a wide range of applications. Suplex Duplex 32760 is also widespread, with a common name as Zeron 100, F55, or W.Nr.14501. It's a high-alloy austenitic-ferritic microstructure having approximately 50-50 structural composition that retains a combination of excellent mechanical properties and corrosion resistance.
Suplex Duplex 32760 alloy rings are an excellent choice when it comes to pitting resistance, featuring a Pitting resistance equivalent number (PREN)above 40, also providing resistance to crevice corrosion and good resistance to stress corrosion cracking.
UNS S32760 alloy rings have yield strength (up to 600 MPa) that is twice that of 316L austenitic stainless steel. UNS S32760 rings are high-performance, cost-effective stainless steel featuring resistance to cryogenic temperatures (-50°C) to elevated temperatures up to 300°C. UNS S32760 alloy rings are made using standard industrial methods such as TIG, MIG, and others. Hence, it offers good weldability and fabrication properties.
Most widely used applications include subsea hardware, flow lines, and offshore platforms (across oil and gas industries), seawater desalination, and plants and pumps (across marine engineering), and process industries such as chemical and petrochemical components.
