Its chemistry includes chromium (24-26%), nickel (6-8%), molybdenum (3-5%), and minimal additions of nitrogen for overall balance of microstructures. This composition provides good pitting resistance with a Pitting Resistance Equivalent number (PREN) higher than 40. In terms of corrosion resistance, Super Duplex 32750 rings perform better than Duplex 2205 rings and other conventional austenitic options like 316L.
