Inconel 602CA alloy, also known as UNS N06025 / W.Nr. 2.4633, features excellent corrosion resistance at a wide range of atmospheres. This alloy can withstand up to 1200°C (2192°F) continuous temperature and cyclic oxidation up to 1232°C (2250°F), making it highly demanded for high-temperature applications. Inconel 602CA rings offer excellent strength across high-temperature environments, including creep-rupture strength up to 1.5 times higher than the standard grade of Inconel 601.
These 602CA rings are packed with superior performance and resist carburization, metal dusting, and superb resistance against pitting and oxidation environments. Inconel 602CA alloy rings are also composed of limited additions of aluminium, titanium, yttrium, and zirconium to create a highly protective oxide layer that prevents grain boundary attack when exposed to excessive thermal stress for a longer period of time. Inconel 602CA alloy rings are widely considered suitable for elevated temperatures while maintaining the same consistent performance for longer periods of time. 602CA offers good resistance to thermal load and resists sulfidation in various environments. It is generally used for both weldability and fabricability due to its versatile nature.
