Inconel 601 Ring

Inconel 601 alloy rings are nickel-chromium-iron alloys with additions of aluminium and ferrous. This grade features excellent oxidation resistance up to (1200–1250°C). It has a chemical composition of nickel (up to 63%), chromium (21-25%), and aluminium balance below 2% for better stabilisation of the material in different environments.
This ring is frequently seen in use across industrial furnaces, heat treatment plants, and petrochemical processes. Inconel 601 is the most preferred choice for oxidative environments with thermal cycling. Inconel 601 alloy, also called UNS N06601 / W.Nr. 2.4851, has controlled proportions of aluminium that create a protective oxide layer to guard against chromium precipitation.
Inconel 601 rings feature a combination of oxidation and corrosion resistance; it even provides good scaling resistance under ultra-cooling or ultra-heating. When it comes to fabrication properties, Inconel 601 grade rings feature ease of fabrication even at higher temperatures. The highly controlled proportions of aluminium enable the formation of tight alumina-rich oxide scales that resist degradation during thermal cycling conditions. Inconel 601 rings are high-temperature oxidation-resistant rings that can even survive excessive cycling conditions without interrupting performance. It can survive up to 1200–1250°C (2200°F) temperature ranges. 601 provides excellent carburization and oxidation resistance with excellent mechanical properties.
